EQuran School is operated by EQuran Team LLC.
By registering for regular classes, making a payment, or continuing to use our services, the student or parent/guardian agrees to these Terms of Service, together with our Fee Policy, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, including any future updates or amendments. These policies form part of the agreement between EQuran School and the student or parent/guardian.
For students who are minors, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for accepting these terms and for communicating with the academy regarding enrollment, scheduling, payments, absences, and other administrative matters.
Classes are conducted according to the days and times mutually agreed upon during registration. Our standard live, one-on-one online class is 30 minutes, unless a different duration has been expressly agreed upon.
The student’s regular time slot is reserved specifically for that student. Because tutors allocate their availability to reserved students, regular attendance and timely communication are important.
For purposes of these Terms, “billing month” means the period beginning on the student’s regular class start date and ending on the corresponding date of the following month, as further explained in the Fee Policy.
Students are expected to attend their scheduled classes regularly.
If a student cannot attend because of a genuine situation such as illness, an emergency, or another unavoidable circumstance, the academy or teacher must be notified at least 2 hours before the scheduled class time.
If the required notice is not provided:
We understand that occasional schedule changes may be necessary. Subject to teacher availability, eligible missed classes may be rescheduled under the following conditions:
If an eligible make-up session cannot be completed within the same billing month because of scheduling conflicts attributable to the academy or teacher, the applicable tuition credit will be handled in accordance with the Fee Policy.
To ensure that all students receive their full dedicated learning time, students are expected to log in and be ready for class promptly at their scheduled start time.
If a student is late:
If the student does not join within the 15-minute waiting period, the session may be recorded as an unexcused absence.
For a holiday, family vacation, or other planned short absence, notify the administration at least 7 days in advance whenever possible.
A short planned absence does not automatically suspend enrollment or reduce monthly tuition because the monthly fee is based on the reserved time slot for a month rather than individual attendance.
Where appropriate and subject to teacher availability, eligible missed sessions may be rescheduled before leaving or after returning. Such make-ups normally must be completed within the same billing month and cannot automatically be carried forward.
A planned absence without the required advance notice may result in affected sessions being treated as missed sessions that are not eligible for make-up.
A short vacation or occasional absence is different from an extended break.
If a student intends to take an extended break, the parent/student should contact the administration before the relevant billing renewal date and request an enrollment hold.
Extended breaks are subject to the Fee Policy, including rules regarding carrying forward prepaid tuition or retaining a teacher and time slot. An enrollment hold is not automatically granted merely because a student stops attending.
If the assigned teacher is unable to conduct a scheduled class because of illness, emergency, internet problems, power failure, or another teacher-side issue, EQuran School will make reasonable efforts to protect the student’s paid learning time.
Depending on availability, the academy may provide a suitable substitute teacher or arrange a 30-minute make-up session.
If an eligible teacher-side make-up cannot be completed by the end of the billing month because of scheduling conflicts, the academy will provide the applicable tuition credit described in the Fee Policy. Such credit is applied to a future invoice and is not normally paid as a cash refund.
If you experience frequent unannounced missed classes or other significant service issues, please report the issue to our administration as soon as possible. We will review the matter and take reasonable corrective action where appropriate.
EQuran School may assign, replace, or change a teacher when reasonably necessary because of teacher availability, operational requirements, teacher resignation, performance, scheduling, or other circumstances.
Students and parents may request a teacher change, subject to availability.
Students or parents may request a change to the regular class schedule. A requested change will be accommodated when a suitable time slot is available. The academy cannot guarantee that a particular teacher and time will always remain available.
During Ramadan, class schedules may be temporarily adjusted when a regular class time conflicts with prayer, Suhoor, Iftar, Taraweeh, or other reasonable Ramadan-related scheduling requirements.
If a teacher resigns or their relationship with EQuran School ends, the academy will make reasonable efforts to assign another suitable teacher.
Students and parents must not arrange private, paid Quran classes directly with a current or former EQuran School teacher outside official channels when that arrangement bypasses EQuran School.
EQuran School is not responsible for payments, disputes, educational arrangements, or other matters arising from unauthorized private arrangements made outside the academy.
Tuition payments, billing cycles, enrollment holds, missed-class rules, fee credits, and refunds are governed by the Fee Policy and Refund Policy.
The collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
EQuran School may update these Terms of Service and related policies from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website. Where appropriate, we may notify existing students or parents of material changes. Continued use of the services or attendance after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, subject to applicable law.
